| THEFT OF MACHINERY - 2008-05-23 | File: Unavailable |
 Overnight between Thursday May 22nd to Friday, May 23rd, Brandt Tractor compound in Castlegar was broken into. Stolen from the compound was a 2006 White 550 Ford truck complete with crane and a large quantity of tools, a yellow 2008 John Deere Skidsteer, model 325, and a black 2008 Majestic flat deck equipment trailer. Total value is in excess of $200,000.00. The truck was recovered abandoned on McCULLOCH Road in Kelowna several days later with the tools taken. The tools included Snap On and other brands valued at approximately $40,000. Police are still looking for the Skidsteer, trailer and tools.
