Aggravated Assault with a Weapon outside of Gotcha's Nite Club on
2008-02-22 at 2:10 am.
MALE PERSON FOR IDENTIFICATION IN VIDEO
Kelowna, BC: On 2008-02-22 at 2:10 am, there was a minor confrontation
between two males just outside of Gotcha's Nite Club on Leon St
Kelowna B.C which resulted in the stabbing of a Kelowna man.
The result from the altercation between the two males was that the
victim received a severe slash wound to the throat which required immediate medical attention at Kelowna General Hospital. The injury to
the male victim was a concern for medical staff at the time, and surgery
was performed. The victim had his injury treated and he was released
from hospital the following evening on 2008-02-23. Video of the *male
person of interest* was captured outside Gotcha's Nite Club showing
his interaction with the victim. The male 'person of interest' seen
in the attached video (his face is highlighted) was involved in the
altercation with the male victim, however the circumstances remain
unclear. Police are now soliciting the public's help in trying to
identify and locate this male 'person of interest' to further the
investigation.
DESCRIPTION OF MALE PERSON OF INTEREST: 5'10', late 20's early 30's,
short brown hair - wavy on the top, has a distinctive jaw line, wearing
a black jacket and blue jeans. Police have reason to believe that this
individual may be in the Lower Mainland.
Anyone with any information in relation to the identity and/or the
whereabouts of the male 'person of interest' are asked to contact

Kelowna RCMP are continuing to investigate the suspicious fire that severly damaged Gerrick's Cycle and Sports, as well as other businesses, on the morning of March 10th. Members of the Kelowna RCMP General Investigation Section are releasing some surveillance video footage gathered from nearby Choice's Market with the hope that it may generate some information to assist with the investigation.

| Apartment parkade thefts |

The parkade of an apartment complex in the 1900 block of Durnin Road had several vehicles broken into on Saturday, March 8th. The glove boxes had been rifled through and some of the vehicles' stereos stolen. The suspect is described as a male Caucasian in his 30's, 6'2', 240 pounds (110 kg) with a shaved head and goatee, wearing a black jacket, dark blue jeans and white running shoes. |
