| 10th Annual Golf Tournament - June 20th, 2008 |
The 10th Annual Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers Golf Tournament, sponsored by Whillis Harding Agencies - Western Financial Group, was a huge success. The event was held on June 20th at Sunset Ranch, and had over 100 participants. Money raised at the event goes directly toward paying rewards and administration costs. Thank you to all the golfers, sponsors and volunteers for making this a fun and successful tournament.

| Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers sweeps awards! - May 3rd, 2008 |
Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers recently attended the BC Crime Stoppers training syposium in Revelstoke May 1st through 3rd, and are they ever glad they did! The Central Okanagan program was presented the Crime Stopper Program of the Year, Media Sponsor of the Year, and Corporate Sponsor of the Year awards, as well as an Honourable Mention for the Crime Stopper of the Year, Cst. Steve Woodcox. They also took the award for recovery of narcotics - over 5.5 million dollars in 2007.
Thank you to a great bunch of people - volunteers, policing authorities, municipal, media and corporate supporters, and staff.
